If you are sick, these are some great bible scriptures to meditate on for healing. Remember God’s word is the truth. It should be more real to us than our present circumstances. Faith increases by mediating on the Word of God, so read and speak these verses many times each day and your Faith with increase!

And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.

—Exodus 15:26

“You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no male or female barren among you or among your cattle. “The LORD will remove from you all sickness; and He will not put on you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known, but He will lay them on all who hate you. “You shall consume all the peoples whom the Lord your God will deliver to you; your eye shall not pity them, nor shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you.”If you should say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?’ you shall not be afraid of them; you shall well remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: the great trials which your eyes saw and the signs and the wonders and the mighty hand and the outstretched arm by which the Lord your God brought you out. So shall the Lord your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

—Deuteronomy 7:14-19

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.”

—Deuteronomy 30:19

No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.
For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.
They will bear you up in their hands,
That you do not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread upon the lion and cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.
“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
“With a long life I will satisfy him
And let him see My salvation.”

—Psalm 91:10-16

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

—Psalm 103:1-5

Fools, because of their rebellious way,
And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.
Their soul abhorred all kinds of food,
And they drew near to the gates of death.
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
He saved them out of their distresses.
He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness,
And for His wonders to the sons of men!

—Psalm 107:12-21

I will not die, but live, and tell of the works of the Lord.

—Psalm 118:17

Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried;Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.

—Matthew 8:2-3

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES.”

And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

—Luke 9:2

Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.

—Acts 5:16

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

—Romans 4:16

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness ” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

—2 Corinthians 12:9

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Thank you, Bob, for assembling these Scriptures to use in reflection, prayer and faith-building. Early on God revealed Himself as the Divine Physician who covenants with His people for health if they will only follow His commands. These days it sounds too good to be true. Only by hearing His word in our spirits can we come to that place of faith…faith to walk in Divine health. Hearing and hearing and hearing these promises of healing and health as we pray and proclaim is what builds us to the “great faith” that delights God and gets results. Thank you again!

I am searching for a verse that I once read in a bible which contained an analogy between birth in death. In the verse the writer states that when the baby is being born it thinks it is dying, and likewise when we are dying we are re-born into a new life just like the baby was. If somebody could hep me to find these beautiful words, I would really appreciate it for a friend who is now terminally ill. Mary Rose

19 Carol B. August 30, 2011 at 8:24 am

Thank you for putting these together I have been going down the list and reading to myself and aloud. Prayers are being said all over Georgia and Rhode Island right now for my husband Bob. He suffered a spinal cord injury in a swimming pool accident on 8/20/11 and is currently in the ICU (3rd hospital ICU since it happened). He was stable and doing ok until this afternoon and he has taken a turn for the worse. His ventilator settings are about maxed out and it is in Gods hands now. I pray the he hears our prayers in our united voice. I have been praying and have many friends and family praying for him. I know that God will look after him and we have been lifting him up for Gods healing light, love and touch since the day it happened. Please know that your work here has helped to calm my spirit and help me hold steady in the knowledge, that no matter what those around me are saying and trying to prepare me for , I know that God is watching over him and hearing our prayers. “This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” —1 John 5:14 “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” —Matthew 21:22 Thank you for your work, bless you and if anyone is reading this tonight please pray for my husband Bob. I don’t know if this is making any sense but please pray for him and myself and our two young sons (8 and 10). Thank you Lord for all the prayerful friends and strangers that have been lifting Bob up to you for healing, please hear our prayers and grant him your healing touch to bring him back to us, in your name I pray. AMEN

What I’ve learned about recieving healing: #1) Never speak sickness, only health according to these verses. #2) Our healing was given to us through the Atonement of Christ over 2000 years ago. Our responsibility is to learn to receive what Jesus has already provided, ” by His stripes we were healed “, is past tense. #3) Faith is now, and hope is in the future. Our faith reaches out and takes hold of what has already been paid for by His stripes 2000+ ago at Calvary. #4). Faith requires action, (faith without works, corresponding action, isin’t faith at all). What do healed people do? They act according to the fact that, by faith, they are healed. And #5) Walking in this kind of faith gives Him all the glory. Only believe, for we walk by faith, not by sight, (not according to how we feel, but according to what Our Masters’ Word says about us.) Lastly, #6). Our faith must always be in the Word of God only. Faith in anything else will not hold true. If Jesus is Lord, then His Word is supreme in our lives. Math; 24:35″ Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but My Words shall never pass away”. Amen!

Thank you for the wonderful healing verses you have compiled from the Bible,may the Holy Spirit continue to
strengthen and inspire you to carry out God’s will in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I together with a few young friends(six to be exact) met for a Bible reading recently for the first time,one friends father was in hospital
in a serious condition. Two days after our meeting we were told that the family has been informed by the hospital
that the patient was diagnosed with liver cancer and there was nothing more they could do,and they were requested
to take the patient home as he was not expected to survive more than a month.
Though we have never done anything like it, the six of us decided to pray for his healing. The latest medical report says
his cancer has improbably(that’s for the doctors) vanished. Praise the Lord

37 Lilibeth June 30, 2012 at 6:20 am

Thank you for these scriptures. It has indeed helped us during our times of reflection and prayers for all the members of our community who are afflicted with cancer and other illnesses. God bless you!
